It is tacky, I know that much.
There are at least four of these truck-mounted billboards on my commute. They seem to be a way to get a billboard up without getting it properly permitted as a permanent sign.
I wonder of these are regulated? Or are they a way to take advantage of a loophole?
I imagine Fritz, over at Sneaking Suspicions, would know the answer.

The Philly Inquirer had a story line recently about a center city businessman who wrapped his building with a "billboard". He was continually fined and it seemed that paying the fines was cheaper than the message earnings because he kept it up until the city came and removed it.
He then immediately replaced it with a new advertisement.
View pollution stinks as badly as any other kind!!
