Inauguration Day, 2005

Mom and Dad taught me: if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.









I hope folks are bundled up for the parade. I hope they don't get too cold.

Oh come on, you can at least say it's another successful display of democracy. It doesn't matter who you voted for. It's the process that have respect for. Not a lot of countries can say that.

Certainly I respect the process, but I reserve the right to be bummed-out by the result.
